IOL Lenses
An intraocular lens (IOL) is a surgically implanted lens in the eye, usually placed to replace the existing crystalline lens because it has been clouded over by a cataract. An IOL lens is also used as a form of refractive surgery to change the eye’s optical power. Delmon Optic provides IOL lenses for Eye Surgeons from internationally recognized brands such as OPHTEC. The types of the IOLs provided are monofocal, multifocal, and adaptive IOLs.

Squint Rehabilitation
Delmon Optic also provides services in identifying and correcting squint. Squints are identified by the team of optometrists and can be remedied by a program containing basic eye muscle exercises and/or by the prescription of corrective spectacles to repair simple muscle imbalance. Squint rehabilitation is done for children as well as some adults after assessment.
Keratoconus Lenses
Keratoconus is a progressive eye disease in which the normally round cornea thins and begins to bulge into a cone-like shape. This cone shape deflects light as it enters the eye on its way to the light-sensitive retina, causing distorted vision. Delmon Optic offers custom soft contact lenses specially designed to correct mild-to-moderate keratoconus. In cases where soft contact lenses cannot control keratoconus, rigid gas permeable (RGP or GP) contact lenses are prescribed for the patient.
Color Blindness Testing
Color blindness is a deficiency in the way one sees color. Patients with this problem have difficulty in distinguishing certain colors, such as blue and yellow or red and green. Delmon Optic offers special lenses combined with filters to enhance color perception and increase the color spectrum perceived by the patient. Corrective filtered lenses are also provided to albino patients who suffer from high light levels.
